The Bee & Bloom Garden

The Bee & Bloom garden is still in its early stages. Having only recently moved here, I’m taking time to observe what is already growing, what wildlife visits and how the garden naturally evolves through the seasons.

Alongside this, I’m planting flowers chosen to support pollinators, encourage biodiversity and eventually provide seasonal blooms for bouquets.

Growing With Nature

A key aim of the Bee & Bloom garden is to create a biodiverse space that supports wildlife throughout the year.

Flowers are chosen not only for their beauty but also for the role they play in supporting nature. Early nectar plants help bees emerging in spring, summer flowers attract pollinators and insects, and seed heads are left later in the year to feed birds.

By planting with wildlife in mind, the garden becomes more than just a place for flowers, it becomes a small ecosystem.

What’s Growing Now

This spring the first seeds have been sown and young plants are beginning their journey.

Many of the seedlings are currently growing indoors while the weather is still cool. Over the coming months they’ll gradually move outside into the garden as the season progresses.
